Description:
This group benefits participants who have completed either the Reclaiming Authenticity Family of Origin Intensive, Survivors I at The Meadows, or another developmental trauma intensive workshop. This group will focus on addressing core issues identified by participants during their intensive workshop, including, but not limited to: Self-Esteem, Boundaries, Reality, Dependency, and Moderation/Containment. Some of the topics within the core issues addressed include: covert contracts, self-compassion, healthy communication/talking boundaries, self-care, resentments, emotional regulation, thinking errors, reparenting yourself, life balance, values congruence, and nore.
You will continue to gain insight for your personal growth and have access to support in your recovery in the group setting. Materials referenced in group include: Facing Codependence and The Intimacy Factor by Pia Mellody (all groups). No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover (men’s group only), The Language of Letting Go by Mellody Beatty (all groups).

NOTE: An Individual pre-screening session is required for clients not currently in individual therapy with a therapist at IRR. Group participants will participate in individual counseling at least twice a month with their existing therapists within or outside of IRR.
