Education & Experience
I’m passionate about helping individuals and couples work through the pain of betrayal trauma and addiction to restore—or build for the first time—a secure emotional connection. My approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based model that allows me to identify and address the negative interaction cycles and emotional patterns that lead to disconnection and distress. Through EFT, I help clients explore their inner emotional world, learn how to regulate overwhelming feelings, and respond to each other with empathy and care.
In addition to EFT, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and offer evidence-based techniques for those navigating trauma and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). My therapeutic approach is warm, supportive, and trauma-informed—centered on creating emotional safety and empowering clients toward healing.
Personal Focus
My mission is to support couples as they navigate the complex and often painful dynamics that can arise in intimate relationships. Whether it’s unresolved trauma, emotional disconnection, or patterns that keep repeating, I help partners slow down, understand each other more deeply, and reconnect in meaningful ways.
With a collaborative and compassionate style, I focus on emotionally rooted challenges such as generational trauma, enmeshment, attachment injuries, and relational stress. I believe that while pain and conflict are part of every relationship, couples can reduce their suffering and build a more secure, resilient, and emotionally rich bond over time.
Education & Experience
I am an Associate Partner Trauma Therapist Candidate (APTT Candidate), trained through the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). I specialize in partner betrayal trauma, with experience supporting individuals through the full spectrum of healing—including preparation for formal disclosures, boundary planning, navigating polygraph results, and leading support groups for betrayed partners of infidelity or sex addiction.
I also have specialized training in enmeshment by Dr. Ken Adams, CSAT-S, and am recognized as one of his Preferred Providers. I’ve worked individually with both men and women struggling with enmeshed family dynamics, and have co-facilitated workshops for enmeshed women and partners of enmeshed adults alongside Erin Wysong-Warren, LPC-S, CSAT-S, CPTT-S, SEP.
My warm, empathetic approach is informed by both professional training and lived experience, including my multicultural background and role as a mother. These perspectives allow me to connect deeply with my clients and understand the emotional and relational challenges facing modern families.
